Dr.
Felicia Mabuza-Suttle is an international award winning entrepreneur,
highly acclaimed talk show host, sought after speaker, lively
emcee and best selling author.
She is President and co-owner of Leadership Success International,
LLC, which specializes in executive leadership training, employee
motivation, team building and business communications consulting.
She is host of her own talk show, Conversations with Felicia,
on The Africa Channel in the US. Felicia, as she is popularly
known on television, was also host of her popular talk show,
The Felicia Show, in South Africa. She was the first to start
an audience talk show aimed at getting black and white South
Africans to debate about issues they could not talk about during
apartheid. The Felicia Show was described as "the pulse
of the nation," and was featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN,
BBC, The New York Times, Atlanta Journal and Constitution,
InStyle (SA), Ebony, Essence, Style magazines and many more
international publications.
Dr. Mabuza-Suttle has introduced and shared the platform with
renowned business gurus like Alvin Toffler, Tom Peters and
Tony Alessandra. She has interviewed Suze Orman, John Maxwell,
Iyanla Vanzant, T.D. Jakes and Wayne Dyer. She has moderated
high profile conferences, including one featuring Presidents
Nelson Mandela and Bill Clinton.
She was named one of the Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the
World by The Star Group in the United States, and was finalist
for Business Woman of the Year in South Africa. She was awarded
the prestigious Impumelelo (Progress) Award for the Top 300
Empowerment Entrepreneurs and was nominated for Life Time Achievement
in the 2009 OLAY South African Iconic Woman Awards. She is a member of the prestigious International Women’s Forum (IWF) and is on Who’s Who in Southern Africa and Atlanta.
Mabuza-Suttle is author of her bestseller, Dare to Dream, which
is a story about a girl from the dusty streets of Soweto in
search of the American dream. Her most recent book, Living
My Dream, is about how she answered to Nelson Mandela's call
to all South Africans living abroad to go back home to help
rebuild a new democracy, in the process becoming a popular
TV personality, businesswoman, author and motivational speaker.
She served as President of South African Tourism in the US,
where she was responsible for overseeing tourism for South
Africa in America. She continues to be "a passionate ambassador" for
South Africa, and urges her audiences internationally to visit
her beautiful country. She was Vice President for Corporate
Affairs for South African Airways, where she served on the
team that changed the colors of the planes in 1995.
Dr. Mabuza-Suttle accomplished her lifelong dream, "to
get alphabets behind my name and prove apartheid wrong".
She holds a BA, MA and Ph.D. She is married
to psychologist and inspirational speaker, Dr. Earl Suttle
and is the mother of two daughters, Lindi and Zani Suttle.
